After a storied career sweetening - and revolutionizing - the Miami culinary scene with her signature, retro-modern desserts, pastry chef Hedy Goldsmith relocated to Los Angeles. She found new inspiration in her West Coast surroundings and the result is her new, playful line of Sweet Hedy of baked goods. The sweets evoke an edible nostalgia with a sophisticated spin.

Leading the line are her Junk in da Trunk® Cookies, which are one of Hedy’s signature recipes that she's honed over decades. Over the years the recipe has remained basically the same, always gooey, salty and amazing - with the supporting players changing depended on where her head is on a given day. The essentials are bittersweet chocolate, crushed kettle potato chips, pretzels, classic candy bars. Hedy has been known to add everything to this batter from assorted Halloween candy to peppermint patties to caramel corn, to peanut butter stuffed pretzels to malty balls.
